A first course in programming languages that uses origami as a metaphorical parallel to programming and generative art as a focus for assignments. Students learn and practice elementary programming techniques such as loops, conditionals, and functions, as well as the abstraction of objects. This course is designed for students who have no prior programming experience; interested students also need not worry about their prior proficiency in art.
